Selection Criteria: Transcending the Frontiers of Knowledge

Launched in 2015, the National Leading Scholars Program aims to identify and support pioneering researchers whose contributions expand the frontiers of human knowledge through the publication of high-quality research in highly accredited international journals.

Ali-Mohammad Soltani, President of the Iran National Science Foundation, stated that the primary evaluation criterion for this period was the quality and impact of scholarly papers published in journals categorized under groups 'A' through 'D' in the year 2024.

This round of evaluations meticulously monitored the scientific performance of 2,030 Iranian authors and researchers, who collectively published 857 articles across 135 highly reputable international journals.
