Academic Promotion of Dr. Akram Ashouri from the Rank of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor

Dr. Ashouri is an active and dedicated member of the chemistry department. Throughout her academic career, she has focused on the fields of organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, and the development of transition-metal-catalyzed synthesis, contributing significantly to the advancement of the department's educational and research activities . Her distinguished academic background—including a postdoctoral fellowship at the prestigious Kyoto University in Japan and international research collaborations, alongside numerous publications in reputable scientific journals—reflects her continuous efforts to expand the frontiers of knowledge and mentor young researchers.
Leveraging her specialized expertise, valuable research experience, and the academic foundation gained from studying and conducting research at internationally recognized scientific institutions, Dr. Ashouri has consistently played an effective and inspiring role in mentoring students, guiding targeted research, and elevating the academic standing of the Department of Chemistry. Her outstanding research publications in the development of novel catalysts, green synthesis, and selective organic reactions demonstrate her dynamic scientific approach and innovative vision toward the frontiers of chemical sciences.
