According to the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Dr. Abdollah Salimi, a distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kurdistan, has been named in the prestigious list of the top 1% highly cited Iranian researchers for the year 1404 (2025).

The annual list of the top 1% highly cited Iranian researchers is compiled and published following rigorous data processing by the ISC on scholarly metrics extracted from two premier global databases: Essential Science Indicators (ESI) and Web of Science (WoS).
